Does this work? I surely do hope so. Not sure how well embedding vids works with Kinja Version whatever.blows so here's hoping.
If not, it's Allentown by Billy Joel. My grandfather grew up there and always told me stories about it. He said he lived up the hill from the Mack truck factory and could see it from his room, which I always thought was badass. Through his stories I've grown a soft spot for the city and I've always loved this song. Personal meaning or not, its a damn good blue collar anthem. And yes, I've ben there once. We took a trip with him before he passed but I was too young to remembwr most of it. Eventually I'll make a trip back there.

My sister went to college in Allentown. It's a dive, aside from the college area. This song is like 300% accurate.
